Questions answered

Everything videographers and couples ask before, during, and after using Pixelreel.

Will my clients know Pixelreel is involved, or does it look like my own platform?
+

On Studio and Pay Per Reel, every portal carries your studio name, logo, colours, and personal message — Pixelreel gets a small "Delivered by Pixelreel" credit at the very bottom, similar to how Shopify stores show a small Shopify footer. Most clients never notice or care.

On Studio Pro, the Pixelreel credit is removed entirely. Your couples see only your brand from start to finish — your logo in the email header, your name in the portal, your domain in the URL. Pixelreel is completely invisible.

Unlike VidFlow — which charges $195/year extra for white-labeling — full brand removal is simply included in Studio Pro at $59/month.

Do I need to host or upload the video files to Pixelreel?
+

No — Pixelreel doesn't host video files. You paste the embed URL from your existing Vimeo or YouTube account into the delivery setup. Pixelreel wraps it in your branded portal experience.

For downloads, you paste a link from Google Drive, Dropbox, or any file storage you already use. The couple clicks "Download" and goes directly to your file — Pixelreel just makes it look beautiful and branded instead of a raw link in an email.

Why this matters: You keep full control of your files. If you ever cancel Pixelreel, your videos stay exactly where they are — on Vimeo or YouTube. Nothing is locked in.

How long do couples have access to their portal?
+

Access windows depend on your plan:

Pay Per Reel — 2 yearsStudio — 2 yearsStudio Pro — 5 years

30 days before a portal expires, Pixelreel automatically emails the couple to remind them to download their film and offers them a $19 extension for another 2 years. If they extend, you earn 70% of that fee — passive income for zero extra work.

We always recommend couples download their film as a backup regardless of portal access — the download link is prominently featured on every portal for exactly this reason.

Can I switch from VidFlow or another platform without losing my existing deliveries?
+

Yes — switching is straightforward. Your existing VidFlow galleries stay live on VidFlow until they expire. For any new deliveries going forward, you create them in Pixelreel instead.

If you want to migrate old deliveries, you simply re-enter the Vimeo or YouTube URL and download link into a new Pixelreel portal and send your couples the new link. Takes about 3 minutes per delivery.

Use code SWITCH for your first month free — specifically for studios moving from another platform. Set up your first delivery on us, compare side by side, then decide.

What happens to my clients' portals if I cancel my Pixelreel subscription?
+

If you cancel, your active portals remain live until their scheduled expiry date — your couples are never left without access mid-term. We give you a 30-day notice window before any portals would go down so you have time to migrate or inform clients.

Because Pixelreel uses your existing Vimeo or YouTube embed URLs, your video files are never at risk regardless of what happens with your Pixelreel account. The film itself always stays where you hosted it.

No couple is ever left without their film due to a billing issue on the studio's end. That's a promise we build into the platform.

I only film 6–8 weddings a year. Is this worth it for me?
+

Absolutely — and we built Pay Per Reel at $19/delivery specifically for you. 8 weddings a year costs you $152 total. No monthly fees in January when you're not delivering anything. No subscription guilt during the off-season.

Compare that to Viddrop at $25/delivery ($200/year), VidFlow's credit system, or MediaZilla's $21/month subscription ($252/year). At 8 weddings, Pixelreel Pay Per Reel is the cheapest option in the market — and the only one with vendor notifications, Wedding Theater, and review collection included.

When it makes sense to upgrade: Once you're sending 2 deliveries in the same month, an in-app prompt shows you the math and offers to switch to Studio at $29/month. You'll never overpay by accident.
